FATSIL has a new website!

The New FATSIL Website

The emphasis on Phase 1 has been on Look & Feel, Information, Administration and Usability.  With a full menu system on the left hand side, search facility, Content Management System (CMS), and login ability it is believed that it is simple enough to use while being as efficient as possible.

The design has been drawn from what FATSIL is all about “The Road & Pathway to Communities”, a competitor analysis from local sources and to an extent – sources from around the world.  The desert sand photo that makes up a large chunk of the ‘look’ represents the “The Road & Pathway to Communities”.  As you can see; there are a few wind blown ripples in the sand converging somewhat together and into the distance – as if they were converging into the website and FATSIL itself.  Not to take away from the effect at all ‘transparency’ was added to the information windows over the top just so that feeling of ‘community’ and style would not be lost in the background.  To be as representative of FATSIL and Australia as possible the sand and desert is an excellent choice especially given Australia’s harsh landscape and our humbling current drought.  It is a proud website, proud of FATSIL and proud of the community to which it represents!

Phase 1 has seen a new Content Management System (CMS) being implemented for ease of use and ease of update into the future.  With the CMS (the number 1 CMS in the world today) and its enormous support and features this website is intended to grow and keep with the times.

As Phase 1 of this website is drawing to a close and the Phase 2 ‘road map’ is still being finalized YOUR contributions are ABSOLUTELY welcome!  Any ideas, problems, or contributions are graciously appreciated, please contact us.
